RENOVADA la Central Texana ANNA WALSH que mantiene su nº 6

Tras su excelente campaña anterior, el Club anuncia la renovación del BOOM de la Liga Iberdrola, y su tremendo remate vuelve al Gran Gaby

 

 

Sigue la americana ANNA WALSH en la disciplina del Kiele para seguir ambos creciendo en la Liga Iberdrola que comenzará en octubre, y que será la segunda temporada tanto de club como jugadora.

Después de una magnifica temporada, con un resultado notable, la de Dallas vuelve con más ilusión y ganas de terminar de triunfar en una Liga que se presenta más abierta y disputada que nunca.

Nacida en Grapevine en 1997, comenzó joven a practicar el voleibol en una familia de deportistas, pues su padre jugó al fútbol americano, deporte que actualmente práctica uno de sus hermanos, Thomas Walsh.

De 2013 a 2015 juega en 3 Olimpiadas Junior con el Texas Adv, llegando a ser finalista del premio Lonestar Volleybal Hitter, y reconocida como Jugadora del Año en Dallas gracias a la consecución del Campeonato Nacional de la USAV en 2014.

En 2015 da el salto a los campeonatos universitarios, con el Freshman de Virginia lo que le sirve para que los ojeadores de las “ranas” de Texas se fijen en ella y la fichen para la temporada 2016, donde terminará de formarse como una Central de potente ataque, que sirve para que en el 2019 el cuerpo técnico del Kiele se fije en ella, y le de la oportunidad de formar parte del equipo debutante en la Liga Iberdrola.

 

 

Después de su primer año de adaptación, en el que realizó una buena campaña, con grandes partidos, y una línea regular ascendente, el entrenador de las de Socuéllamos, Chema Rodríguez, considera que la renovación de Anna “era una prioridad de este cuerpo técnico, ya que la posición de Central es difícil de cubrir en el mercado nacional, y el perfil de Anna además de ser muy importante en nuestro esquema, nos ha demostrado con números que es una jugadora que puede dar mucho más, y a bien seguro que la temporada que comienza será la de su consagración como una de las mejores de la Liga”.

Buena compañera, trabajadora, con gran potencia de ataque y salto, Anna ha estado feliz en Socuéllamos, y ha vivido de manera intensa su primera experiencia en España, no dudando a la hora de renovar, pues en palabras de ella “el Kiele es mi familia deportiva, un club donde me lo han dado todo, y me he sentido como en casa, mis padres están felices por lo que les he contado, y estoy deseando que comience la próxima campaña, para lo que todos los días entreno y me mantengo en forma en casa, soñando con hacer algo grande con este club que me ha abierto las puertas del voleibol profesional”.

El número 6 sigue en propiedad de ANNA WALSH, a la que el club, y su directiva, dan la bienvenida nuevamente, y le desean lo mejor para este año.
